Church History

Our History

Pastor Charles Jones and his wife Jacqueline F. Jones established New Covenant Bible Fellowship in January of 2011. Gatherings were originally held at a member’s home in the Hunters Creek area on Central Florida Park Way. After meeting at Sister Lize Joseph’s home for about 6 weeks on Monday nights only for Bible study, the Lord opened the door to allow us the opportunity to lease the cafeteria of a local middle school to begin pre-launch services on Sunday nights. We held our first evening service on March 13th, 2011 and set forth immediately to put into practice our motto of being a truly welcoming and caring, “come as you are church” where people could feel free to worship the Lord.

New Covenant Bible Fellowship was officially launched on April 17th, 2011 at Freedom Middle School and began its campaign to become a lighthouse beacon in the Central Florida community. Our ministry grew rapidly through God’s grace and soon after celebrating our second anniversary the Lord blessed us with the purchase of our first building in July of 2013 and renovation work began in January 2014.

God blessed us with many helping hands along the way and answered our every prayer to bring about the completion of our new church building. On March 30th, 2014 amongst much praise and rejoicing we held our first church service in the new sanctuary and organized our dedication service to be held on April 13, 2014. To God be the glory for all the love he has shown to New Covenant Bible Fellowship family.
